The PA31 is twin piston engine aircraft, custom built for the general aviation market. In all over
two thousand were produced in a production run spanning more than 20 years.
Several versions were produced, but the principal models available for charter are the standard 5 seat
Navajo and the stretched 8 seat version, the Navajo Chieftain.
